Adobe Releases Emergency Patch

Adobe Systems has released an emergency security update to fix 17 vulnerabilities in its Reader and Acrobat applications, including two critical bugs that are being exploited by hackers in the wild.
The vulnerabilities were first reported by Adobe on 4 June, along with another critical vulnerability in its Flash player, which was patched within a few days.
The security patch for Acrobat and Reader had been scheduled for release on 13 June, but was moved forward by the company because the vulnerabilities addressed were being exploited by hackers to install malware onto end users …

Adobe Flash Player updates to v10.1

Automatic updates of the Adobe Flash Player have started going out today around the world. The update fixes a number of flaws that were mentioned in a recent article; one of the bugs fixed is in which an attacker could take control of a remote system via Adobe Flash Player.
If you want to make sure you have this update, visit Adobe to check your flash player version. If you don’t have the 10.1 version then you can now head to the Adobe Flash download to update.
